MICHAEL FLYNN, a distinguished graduate of New York Law School, has been a noted civil trial lawyer specializing in Federal Court litigation for over 28 years. His expertise in railroad litigation has afforded him the opportunity to assist railroad employees by protecting their rights under the Federal Employers’ Liability Act, Railway Labor Act, Safety Appliance Act, Boiler Inspection Act and Code of Federal Regulations related to railroad safety. He is designated legal counsel to the BRS and the TWU nationwide. On Long Island, he is legal counsel to the BLE, IBEW, Sheet Metal Workers, IRSA, NCFO.
Attorney Flynn has established law in 14 reported cases and is admitted to practice in New York and various Courts throughout the northeast, handling cases in Buffalo, Binghamton, Syracuse, Utica, Albany, Kingston. He has also appeared in various other Courts outside the New York Metropolitan area: Maine; Massachusetts; Rhode Island; Washington, DC; Maryland, New Jersey, Connecticut. He is a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association, New York Trial Lawyers Association, Nassau County Bar Association, Academy of Rail Labor Attorneys and Civil Justice Foundation. He also a member of the Trial Lawyers Care Committee representing victims of the World Trade Center Disaster, Nassau County Bar Association Speaker Program, Nassau County Bar Association Mentor’s Program, Oceanside School District Wide Committee for Development of Site Base Management Plan.

MARC WIETZKE, is a graduate of Pace Law School where he distinguished himself as the Managing Editor for the Pace International Law Review. In 1997, Marc became a member of the bar. He has clerked for the Honorable Barbara Zambelli in the City Court of Mount Vernon where he received extensive courtroom experience. He has worked with the United States Department of Justice in its admiralty division.
While attending law school, Marc worked for Michael Flynn, performing the work of a law clerk, learning about the practice, the railroads and the Federal Employers’ Liability Act. His first trial was against the Long Island Railroad in a FELA case under the supervision of Michael Flynn. Marc went on to work in different areas of the law and has gained courtroom experience from both the plaintiff and defendant’s table.
In 1997, Marc was admitted to the state courts of New Jersey and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey; to the state courts of New York and the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York in 1998 and to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit in 2005.
Since joining the firm in January 2006, Marc has resumed his FELA career as an experienced litigator, handling the problems that are unique to our clientele.

EVA FLECHA, legal assistant to Michael Flynn, has contributed 19 years of invaluable service. During trials, she sits at counsel’s table managing exhibits and witnesses. Eva lends an experienced eye and ear to assist Attorney Flynn in his courtroom presentations. In the office, she is responsible for the well-coordinated, professional operation of the law firm including all information pertaining to schedules and files.
Eva also is the disability consultant for the firm, having successfully obtained disability retirement benefits for many railroad workers. She can handle your retirement disability application from start to finish and provide you with the information you need in advance of your retirement to prepare for your application. Eva can meet with you to gather all pertinent information to assure the best quality application and, if necessary, she can accompany you to the Railroad Retirement Board's office to submit your application.
